Payroll Specialist Details:
- Contract to Hire position
- $28.00 to $31.00 /hour
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
- Process and audit multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees with accuracy and compliance.
- Manage complex payroll transactions including adjustments, garnishments, bonuses, and off-cycle payments.
- Partner with HR and Finance to reconcile employee data, cost centers, and general ledger requirements.
- Ensure payroll tax compliance and prepare required quarterly and year-end filings.
- Generate payroll reports to support audits, budgeting, and business analysis.
Payroll Specialist Qualifications:
- 5 years of end-to-end payroll experience supporting hourly and salaried employees in a multi-state environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour compliance, and payroll tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze, reconcile, and audit large data sets.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.
