Financial Services Specialist Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Build and maintain relationships with issuing financial institutions, co-agents, and DTC providers
• Communicate daily with clients and partners to support rate inquiries, provide updates, and maintain strong service levels
• Update, track, and distribute daily CD rate sheets and respond to incoming rate requests
• Generate and compile rate quotes to support trade activity and client needs
• Execute and process trades, including entering transactions, placing trades with issuers, and ensuring timely confirmations
• Monitor market rates and support placement activity by coordinating between financial institutions and investment partners
• Proactively contact issuers, co-agents, and investors regarding maturing CDs to support reinvestment and new business opportunities
• Review and resolve trade discrepancies and ensure accuracy of all transaction data
• Manage daily maturities, transfers, and redemption calculations in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records, including issuer profiles, wire instructions, and transaction documentation
• Support administrative and operational tasks, including correspondence, reporting, and system updates

Financial Services Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Investments, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience within a financial institution, brokerage, or trading/operations environment
• Series 7 License is a plus
• Experience with financial transactions, trading support, or rate-based products preferred
• Exposure to sales, relationship management, or client-facing responsibilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with executives and external partners
• Proven ability to provide consistent, high-level customer service
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with financial data
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer systems
• Ability to work both independently and within a small team environment
• Knowledge of financial markets, CD products, or investment portfolios is a plus
