Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Charter Bus Driver to transport passengers to and from scheduled destinations, including tours, corporate events, school trips, private charters, and special events. The ideal candidate will prioritize passenger safety, provide excellent customer service, and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a charter bus along assigned routes and schedules
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service to passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and special needs when required
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Accurately complete required logs, reports, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management
- Handle unexpected situations such as traffic delays or route changes professionally
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
