About the Role
The Principal Attorney will lead our Rockville team while maintaining a robust practice in:
· Elder Law
· Estate Planning
· Special Needs Planning
· Estate & Trust Administration
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced attorney who enjoys practice leadership, mentoring, client education, and building long-term relationships in the community.
What You’ll Do
· Lead and grow the Rockville office’s legal team
· Manage a strong caseload with support from seasoned staff
· Serve as the senior attorney for complex client matters
· Mentor attorneys and professional staff
· Collaborate with firm leadership on strategy and initiatives
· Participate in business development (we provide a steady client pipeline)
· Represent the firm in the community through workshops and webinar presentations
· Continue to grow the firm’s Montgomery County presence (and beyond)
What We’re Looking For
· J.D. and Maryland Bar admission (LL.M. and DC/VA a plus)
· 6 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, and/or estate & trust administration
· Demonstrated leadership or office/department management experience
· Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills
· A collaborative, client-centered attorney who values growth and innovation
