Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist – Search to lead paid search strategy and execution for a portfolio of ecommerce clients. This role combines hands-on campaign management with strategic planning, performance analysis, client consultation, and mentorship of junior team members. You'll serve as a subject matter expert across Google Ads, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube while helping clients achieve measurable growth through data-driven performance marketing.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead paid search strategy for a portfolio of ecommerce clients.
- Manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, YouTube, and Performance Max.
- Develop and execute conversion-focused strategies aligned with client goals.
- Build and optimize keyword targeting, bidding strategies, ad copy, and landing page recommendations.
- Develop quarterly testing roadmaps and growth plans.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights to improve ROAS, CPA, and customer acquisition.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, copy, and landing pages.
- Prepare client reports highlighting actionable insights and opportunities for growth.
- Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Partner with account strategists on forecasting, budget planning, and growth initiatives.
- Mentor junior specialists and share best practices across the team.
- Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, automation tools, and AI-driven solutions.
Job Requirements
- 3 years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns for ecommerce brands (agency experience preferred).
- Proven track record improving ROAS, conversion rates, and customer acquisition through paid search.
- Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Merchant Center, GA4, and conversion tracking.
- Experience managing significant monthly media budgets and optimizing toward multiple business goals.
- Experience presenting performance insights directly to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Advanced understanding of attribution, testing methodologies, and measurement frameworks.
- Bonus: experience with Microsoft Ads, YouTube Ads, Performance Max, BigQuery, or feed management platforms.
