Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team responsible for all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to plastic injection molding equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot and repair high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and industrial automation components.
- Oversee facilities management tasks including HVAC systems, general building maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate projects related to equipment upgrades, facility improvements, or new machinery installation while managing timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; interpret schematics for diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including handling high voltage systems safely, managing electrical work permits, and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with production management to schedule maintenance activities that minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history within CMMS platforms.
Skills
- Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing environment specializing in plastic injection molding or similar industries.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise in both high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and industrial automation troubleshooting.
- Experience with facilities management including HVAC systems, general building maintenance, and safety compliance standards.
- Skilled in using CMMS software for work order management, scheduling preventive maintenance, and tracking asset history.
