Chiropractic Assistant

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support chiropractors in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and assisting with patient assessments. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on health and wellness, with a focus on patient service and clinical support. Having a background in Kinesiology is a plus.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization of equipment
• Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments
• Conduct patient assessments, including recording vital signs and medical history
• Maintain accurate patient records using medical terminology and documentation standards
• Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
• Answer phones and help answer patient questions
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in patient service or healthcare settings is preferred
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills for effective patient assessment and education
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Basic understanding of patient intake procedures and clinical support functions
• Compassionate attitude with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
