Job duties would include diagnosis and repair of automotive systems including brake, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems among other simpler tasks like performing routine maintenance.

General Responsibilities include:
- Assisting other technicians in performing technical activities
- Explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals who may include employees and customers on an as-required basis
- Learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology
- Keeping store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
- Maintaining an organized and neat work area
- Assisting other technicians in performing technical activities
- Explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals who may include employees and customers on an as-required basis
- Learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology

Qualifications:
The Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic position requires an individual who is highly motivated and energetic. Requirements:
- 2 years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience
- ASE-certifications Preferred
- Associate Degree/Technical School Preferred
- Customer-focused attitude
- No Criminal Background
- Able to pass a drug test
- Neat appearance
- Driver's License
- Ability to Drive a manual transmission
- Ownership of hand and air tools to facilitate job responsibilities
- Self Motivated
- Punctual
- Excellent Computer/Technology Skills
- Able to lift 50lbs without restrictions
