Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual and/or CNC vertical milling machines (such as Clausing or Bridgeport models) to produce high-quality metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include machine setup, operation, measurement, and inspection of parts to ensure accuracy and consistency. The right candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, maintains attention to detail, and contributes to a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six months of related machining experience.
- Ability to read and understand G-code or knowledge of CNC programming.
- Proficiency in reading drawings/specs with geometric tolerances.
- Familiarity with tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and other machining accessories.
- Basic math skills including algebra and geometry.
