Full job description
We are looking for individuals with a passion for provide excellent customer service and who excel working both independently and as a member of a team. The Sales Route Merchandiser is responsible for sales and merchandising retail products in stores along a specified route. This position must develop and maintain relationships with customers and provide knowledge of product lines. This is a Full-time position paid hourly with benefits, vacation, and holiday time off. However, requires a flexible schedule with some weekend work. Route geography includes but not limited to the North Atlanta to Northeast Georgia area.
Job Description:
- Create weekly orders based on established inventory levels
- Complete merchandising resets and recommend opportunities for cross-merchandising
- Responsible for selling and ordering product into accounts.
- Ensures consistent adherence to merchandising and customer service standards
- Continuously cultivate relationships by actively engaging with deli management to understand their customer base and specific opportunities/challenges
- Build awareness of our premium delicatessen products
- Other additional projects as assigned/needed
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, maintain company assets and point of sale, ensure account meets merchandising standards, determine stores' product needs, place and transmit appropriate order
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, warehouse, or similar role
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
