Position Overview:
This is an in-office position. The Trader/Client Service Specialist provides critical support to the firm’s daily operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with advisors and other operations team members in a highly professional and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of client portfolios, including rebalancing and processing money movement requests, such as wire transfers/ACH distributions, family gifting, charitable gifting, and other asset movement requests
- Apply technological solutions to provide efficiencies in all areas of the trading and portfolio-management processes
- Proactively analyze portfolios to determine if they are within allocation tolerance bands
- Monitor custodial transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and to ensure compliance with firm policies and/or industry regulations
- Assist with custodial paperwork and processing of forms, including applications, new accounts, and account transfers
- Coordinate and track new clients through the onboarding process
- Assist with quarterly performance reports and billing invoices
- Leverage technology to generate client reports and organize client data
- Participate in continuous process improvement efforts and support implementation of trading and operation systems enhancements
- Assist with other administrative tasks to support the growth and development of the firm
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Series 65 or other trading license equivalent
- Sound judgment and the ability to be proactive and decisive
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Beginning at $65,000/yr and based on experience
