Construction Superintendent – Water Infrastructure Projects
Location: Marietta, GA
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time
A leading heavy civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee water infrastructure projects throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a field leader with experience managing complex wastewater, flood control, reservoir, pump station, and underground utility projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Monitor daily production, quality, and project progress.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
- Manage site logistics, workforce planning, and material deliveries.
- Review plans, specifications, and project schedules.
- Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
- Strong experience in one or more of the following:
- Wastewater treatment facilities
- Water treatment facilities
- Flood control projects
- Reservoir construction
- Pump stations
- Underground utilities and pipelines
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Experience with municipal and public works projects is highly desirable.
