Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Driver/Laborer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that landscapes are aesthetically pleasing and functional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Perform general landscaping tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and trimming shrubs and trees.
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, dump trucks, box trucks, and tankers as needed.
- Assist in the installation of irrigation systems and drainage solutions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Drive shuttle vehicles for transporting materials or personnel as required.
- Ensure job sites are clean and organized at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, forklifts, and other machinery.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving shuttle vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
