We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as our Breakfast/Lunch Line Cook. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the training of kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and culinary skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
- Utilize knife skills and cooking techniques to create visually appealing dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Understand the FIFO method when using food supplies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant with FLAT TOP cooking is required.
- Strong culinary experience with a focus on meal preparation, and cooking.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
