Quality Control

SUMMARY: Provide expertise, and continuous improvement to the Quality Assurance function in the plant. Close cooperation with headquarters, sister plant in Europe. Direct reporting to person responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant Integrated Management System in compliance with plant IMS, Risk Management Process, and Food Safety Systems Certification (FSCC 22000 and BRC Packaging materials).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conducting daily sample inspections to ensure quality standards are met

· Creating and distributing documentation related to nonconforming production

· Reviewing and inspecting production documentation for completed products

· GMP/GHP training and supervision

· Keeping documentation and records related to the Integrated Management System, risk management process and certification of food safety systems (FSCC 22000 and BRC Packaging)

· Conducting hygienic audits - in accordance with the internal schedule

· Organization and supervision of washing production lines (according to the internal schedule)

· Microbiological monitoring

· Supervision of monitoring and testing the quality and compliance of incoming Raw Materials

· Conducting acceptance control of raw materials

· Coordinates work of Pest Control vendor

· Communicate the plant Integrated Management System expectations to all personnel provide training accordingly

· Participate in the plant Pre-Requisite Programs (PRPs), Operational Pre-Requisite Programs (OPRPs), and Critical Control Points (CCPs), as defined in the Food Safety Program

· Maintain documentation and records associated with plant Integrated Management Systems, Risk Management Process, and Food Safety Systems Certification (FSCC 22000 and BRC Packaging materials).

· Follow orders from superiors

· Implementation of the Elplast Quality Policy

· Supports and follows company values

· Performs other duties as assigned

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
