The Process Technician will work within the manufacturing engineering team in different tasks such as technical support in: equipment/process, troubleshooting, process improvement projects to improve productivity and reduce scrap, mfg. area machine/process layouts, validation protocols execution, on the job training for operators, cutting tool tests, process cycle time studies and special tasks or projects. Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
- Trouble shoots CNC machines, processes, and ancillary equipment. Performs and improves machine setup.
- Assists on the job training of production staff.
- Assists in process improvements to improve productivity
- Executes, coordinates, and verifies data on validation protocols
- Designs, prepares, repairs and improves fixtures
- Assists in cycle time studies and special tasks or assignments
- Runs tests with new equipment and assists in process and machine capability studies
- Creates and maintains machine programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge on common manufacturing equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturing (lathes, air compressors, automated equipment).
- Knowledge in Lean, Blueprint reading, Measurement instruments and gauges
- General knowledge in CAD software is preferred
- Knowledge in GMP and ISO is a plus
- Customer focus oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must with a willingness to be a team player
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanic or 3 to 5 years of related experience.
