We are seeking a Head of Finance to help build and manage the financial backbone of the company as we scale.
Role Overview
This role is for a financial Swiss army knife — someone who is equally comfortable managing the books, building complex financial models, preparing investor updates, and helping leadership make strategic decisions.
You will work directly with the CEO and executive team to oversee the financial health of the company while helping prepare ELOREA for its next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with startup experience who enjoys operating across multiple functions and building systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Coordinate monthly financial close with external accounting partners
- Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Analyze performance across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels
- Deliver financial insights to support leadership decision-making
Investor Relations
- Prepare investor updates, financial reports, and board decks
- Support fundraising processes and investor communications
- Manage company data rooms and due diligence materials
Strategic Finance
- Partner with leadership on growth strategy and expansion planning
- Evaluate new stores, partnerships, and product launches
- Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, and operational improvements
Ideal Candidate
- 6–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, or startup finance
- Experience working at a startup or high-growth company
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats — from closing books to building board decks
- Strong financial modeling and Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience supporting investor relations and fundraising
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred:
- Experience in consumer brands, retail, beauty, or luxury
- Experience with venture-backed companies
