Job SummaryWe are a wedding & event company seeking a dependable and hardworking Event Driver & Setup Coordinator to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for picking up a company van from our Vista location, safely transporting event equipment to wedding and event sites throughout San Diego and Orange County, and leading the setup and breakdown of event spaces.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, physical work, and being part of creating seamless, beautifully executed events. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients and guests experience a smooth and professional event from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesPick up and operate a company van from our Vista location to transport event equipment and décor to and from venuesSafely load and unload chairs, arches, tables, floral items, and event décor while following proper lifting and safety protocolsSet up and break down event spaces according to provided diagrams and instructions, ensuring a clean and professional presentationDeliver flowers and small décor items to venues when neededMaintain organization and cleanliness of rental items (including light cleaning of chairs and equipment before and after events)Manage driving routes and arrival schedules to ensure timely venue setupCommunicate effectively with team members to coordinate logistics and event flowRepresent the company with a positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude at all timesRequirementsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordComfortable driving a company van across San Diego and Orange CountyAbility to lift and move items up to 50 lbs (chairs, arches, tables, and décor)Availability on weekends (most events occur Friday–Sunday) and some weekdaysStrong attention to detail and ability to follow setup instructions and layoutsPunctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and communicationComfortable working outdoors and at various venue typesExperience in delivery driving and event setup/breakdownPreferred (Not Required)Customer service, hospitality, or wedding/event industry experienceCompensation$30-35 per hour, depending on experienceOpportunity for growth and potential for increased payJob Types: Part-time, ContractBenefits:Flexible scheduleOn-the-job training
