Role Description
The Simulator Instructor will be responsible for conducting simulator-based training sessions for aviation students, including flight procedure instruction, aircraft systems operation, and type-rating preparation. This full-time role involves planning and delivering comprehensive training in a professional, engaging manner while ensuring that students meet regulatory and institutional standards. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with faculty and staff to meet individualized learning needs. This is an on-site role located in Charlotte, NC.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Type Rating and related instructional competencies
- Solid knowledge of Aircraft Systems and their operational functions
- Experience in Aircraft operation and hands-on piloting
- Experience in Training design and curriculum implementation for aviation programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to mentor and guide students effectively
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautics, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with regulated training environments and safety standards
