Join Our Team – Floating Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Floating Leasing Consultant to support two communities in Columbus, IN—Stonegate and Townhomes at 28th—totaling 213 units. This role will be primarily based at Townhomes at 28th but will float as needed between both properties.
If you are a people-focused professional with strong sales and customer service skills, this is a great opportunity to grow within the multi-family housing industry. Multi-family leasing experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate with a strong sales and service background!
As the first point of contact for prospective residents, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive leasing experience and supporting occupancy goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and provide engaging property tours
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Promote the communities through marketing and outreach efforts
- Process applications and lease documents accurately and efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, and lease terms
- Follow up with prospects and maintain communication throughout the leasing process
- Assist with resident retention efforts and community events
- Support both property teams and work collaboratively with management and maintenance
- Travel between Stonegate and Townhomes at 28th as needed
Qualifications
- Sales and customer service experience required
- Multi-family leasing experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RentCafe) a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed
- Reliable transportation to float between properties in Columbus, IN
