CARGO VAN DRIVER

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Cargo Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering goods and packages to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient service. This role requires excellent driving skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items. Previous experience with warehouse operations, route driving, and commercial driving is highly valued.

Duties

• Safely operate a cargo van for daily deliveries across designated routes
• Load and unload packages or goods using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
• Ensure accurate delivery of items to customers while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness
• Manage delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery completion
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning of the cargo van
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• U.S work authorization
• Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or commercial driver, preferably with box trucks or cargo vans
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks regularly
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures is advantageous
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $900.00 per week
