Elmwood Pharmacy & Home Medical Equipment is accepting applications for top notch, full time and part time Registered/Certified, Pharmacy Techs. Our locally owned, rapidly growing, independent pharmacy has been in business for over 29 years and we are in need of a quality tech to continue to provide excellent service to our customers. Pharmacy Technicians must be flexible to work 8 hour shifts, Monday–Friday between 8:30am and 6:30pm and an occasional shorter shift between 8:30am and 1:30pm on Saturdays. The schedule will rotate to accommodate staffing needs.
Job Functions:
- Provide friendly, prompt and efficient customer service to our customers.
- Performs pharmacy-related functions under direction of pharmacist
- Utilize, update and maintain data in pharmacy computer systems
- Order prescription merchandise from specified vendors
- Process Third Party transactions and related rejections
- Pharmacy tech will fill and package medications in unit dose/multi dose packaging using automation.
- Receive and process daily inventory order
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position and comply with all company, state and federal policies and procedures
- Pharmacy tech will be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in all interactions.
- Must be able to think critically, maintain focus, work with a sense of urgency.
Requirements:
Nebraska Board of Pharmacy - Must be registered by the State of Nebraska as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire and complete certification within one year of becoming registered. If you were registered as a Pharmacy Technician as of January 1, 2016, you must be certified upon hire. If you were first registered after January 1, 2016, you must be certified within one year from the registration date.
