Activities Assistant- Part Time dayshift

Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen is now hiring for a Part Time Dayshift Activities Assistant from the hours of 8:30a-5:00p, 3 days a week, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Great hours! Activities Assistants assist with developing and implementing activity programs as scheduled on the activity calendar. Works with all staff members increasing understanding of residents social and leisure needs.

Assists the program coordinator in organizing group and individual activities and scheduling outside entertainment!

Duties:
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for residents in accordance with their interests and abilities.
- Help residents manage their schedules and ensure they have access to necessary resources.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive community environment.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities.

Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and coordinate activities.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults.
