Position Summary
The Electrical Field Superintendent will lead field management responsibilities by utilizing construction fundamentals and EdgeHill Integrated Systems resources, standards, and processes. The superintendent will deliver projects according to their plans, schedules, quality expectations, specifications, with the right attitude, courtesy, and professionalism as it relates to their team, subcontractors and General contractors.
All activities will be performed in support of the values of EdgeHill Integrated Systems.

Essential Job Functions
- Leads and implements EdgeHill's safety standards.
- Verifies project housekeeping is being done
- Leads communication with project teams and subcontractors to coordinate day-to-day jobsite logistics
- Leads project startup requirements for field team
- Fully understands drawing and specifications of the project to be able to be knowledgeable of details of project
- Assists in reviewing project documents to stay ahead of RFI's and future coordination issues
- Assists in daily reports, progress reports, and compliance reports
- Assists in development, planning, and updating of overall project schedule
- Proactively identify problems and implement solutions in time to maintain workflow
- Leads the project in ensuring all installed material is per specifications and submittals
- Leads project team in internal inspections/QC walks
- Creates, reviews, and closes out quality control observations and punch lists
- Leads team in project closeout and owner turnover
- Understands Edgehill’s policy and processes
- Mentors and trains assistant supers and field engineers
- Develop and maintain material logs for jobsite materials purchased by Edgehill
- Use of hand tools could be required
Specific Education Or Experience
- A.S Degree in electrical related program is preferred, but not required if experience levels are high
- Minimum of 5 years related construction experience working in similar positions
- Proven track record as a team player and an effective leader on the jobsite
- Must be able to work outside on construction site including all types of weather (extremes of hot/cold)
- You will be working in a temporary facility/structure
- Able to stand; crawl; climb ladders & stairs; balance; stoop and kneel; etc (physical activities associated with construction sites)
- You must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- You frequently work near moving mechanical parts. You occasionally work in high, precarious places and are occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. You should be able to recognize these hazards or potential hazards a react accordingly to protect the workforce and provide OSHA compliant safeguards
- Travel may be required.
