ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and execute the company's data strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data systems and infrastructure.
- Construct and maintain an internal reporting calendar, coordinate key timelines and deliverables, and proactively manage cross-functional collection of data to drive continuous improvements in all aspects of the reporting operational processes.
- Manage all projects across the Business Intelligence (BI) department including milestones/deadlines, deliverables, budgets, resources, and building key relationships.
- Prepare reporting and data dashboards for Executive and leadership team members upon request.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business to maintain executive level reporting with zero quality defect and consistent on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to compile and leverage company data across a variety of company systems and sources to drive business solutions.
- Act as a liaison to ensure business users understand the data they are working with, including its sources, meaning, and how it relates to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain financial security and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence, forecasting, and performance management. May also be responsible for preparing weekly or monthly meetings for firm's management to keep superiors updated with developments in the industry.
- Ensure that data insights are communicated in an intuitive, visually appealing manner, contributing to final work products delivered to stakeholders.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years in a similar role, with a strong background in data management and analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Substantial experience in financial reporting.
