KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Data entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - including Outlook and Excel

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain accurate records - process invoices in a timely manner

Fortify vendor relationships by -
- Communicating clearly and consistently with vendors
- Advocating on behalf of vendors to the Elmington team
- Taking ownership of paying invoices on time
- Handling disputes
- Reconcile accounts
- Reclass items through journal entries
- Update utility tracking logs for each project
- Process checks and online payments weekly
- Prevent fraud through our Positive-Pay banking system
- Issue and file form 1099 at year end
- Manage the credit card software
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in an administrative or accounting role is preferred
- Associate degree in accounting or business administration can be beneficial
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
