• Must have a valid Illinois Professional Educators License and be endorsed in high school Social Studies. Human Geography and History preferred.

Qualifications

• Required endorsements in Psychology.
• Preferred endorsements to teach Geography, Government, & Economics.
• Preferred but not required: ESL/EL endorsements, Bilingual Endorsements.
• Knowledge of best practices as it relates to supporting (all) students' ability to learn.
  
  

Description: The ideal candidate has strong content knowledge and the ability to teach students at different levels across the discipline. The candidate teaches both content and literacy skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to teach a variety of courses including Human Geography, AP Human Geography, American Government & AP US Government, APUSH, AP European History, regular and AP Psychology, Economics. Opportunities for coaching and other curricular activities would be beneficial.

IL Professional Educator License (PEL) required with proper endorsement and registered in DuPage County.
