Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our growing aquarium service team. You will work with other members of our service team to create beautiful fish tanks in customers' homes and businesses in the Pittsburgh area. The job may also involve a couple of days per week as a Sales Associate in our retail aquarium specialty store. You will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, maintaining aquariums, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities
- Travel with our service team to maintain customers' aquariums
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers become successful with their aquariums
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Drivers License
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
- Ability to lift 40lbs and carry water buckets throughout the day
- Experience with aquarium keeping is necessary
