Job Description:
Elmer Schultz is looking for an experienced Commercial Cooking Equipment Technician to provide non-emergency and emergency service, warranty and non-warranty repair, and preventive maintenance for the commercial kitchen equipment of our customer base, as well as other general duties within the company. This position will be managed out of our main office in Philadelphia. Further information provided below.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (What you'll need to apply):
- At least 2 years, hands-on technical experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and creative problem-solving
- Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
- High School Diploma or GED
- CFESA Certification and/or manufacturer training is a HUGE plus!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to (What you'll do):
- Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair reported service issues and all other problems encountered
- Identify areas of opportunities (potential failures of current functional equipment)
- Report all service activities accurately on service orders at the completion of every call
- Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
- Operate and manage company issued vehicle, tools and equipment in accordance with company guidelines
Physical stuff:
* Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
* Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying
* Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools
