Kennel Assistant – Part-Time

What we offer:
- Starting pay $10–$15/hour based on experience
- Flexible scheduling with morning (7 AM–12 PM) and afternoon (4 PM–6:30/7 PM) shifts available.
- Weekends and Holiday shifts may be required

Your role:
- Provide daily food, water, and compassionate care to boarding animals
- Walk and exercise dogs safely in outdoor areas around the clinic
- Administer medications to animals as directed (training provided)
- Monitor animals’ health and behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to clinic staff
- Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and common areas to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Collect samples as requested by veterinary staff
- Assist with a variety of tasks around the clinic as needed
- Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners during check-in and check-out
Our Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about animals and their well-being
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs, walking dogs, cleaning, bending, and kneeling
- At least 16 years old with dependable transportation
- Positive attitude, eager to learn, and willing to support the team wherever needed
