• $64,711.58 - $122,591.66 (2025-2026)
• Will be updated per ETO CBA Salary Schedule 2026-2027

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team who will be supporting students throughout Elma School District. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for students with varying needs, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic and social success.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
• Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) School Behavior Analyst Certificate
• Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• WSP/FBI background and fingerprint clearance (fee paid by the employee)
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment and intervention techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Commitment to professional development and staying informed about best practices in the field

Examples of Duties:

This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary and without notice. Depending upon individual assignments, the teacher performs all or a combination of several of the following duties:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies across all settings.
• Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques and best practices.
• Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals related to behavior
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
• Stay current with research and developments in the field of behavior analysis and special education.
• Advocate for students' needs and promote a positive school climate.
• Provide direction behavior instruction and intervention training and support for behavior or register behavior technician (RBT) staff
