About the role
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on learner to join our Facilities Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice. Through our structured apprenticeship program, you'll work alongside experienced mentors to build real skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more gaining the foundation for a long-term career in the skilled trades.

What you'll learn & do
Plumbing
Diagnose and clear drain issues, install fixtures, maintain valves and supply lines
Electrical
Install and repair wiring, test breakers, replace outlets and switches safely
HVAC
Replace filters and thermostats, perform boiler maintenance, install system parts
Carpentry
Drywall, doors, windows, flooring, trim, and interior finishes
Mechanical repair
Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment; lubricate and maintain mechanical systems
Preventive maintenance
Scheduled upkeep of building systems, equipment, and appliances
What we're looking for
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
- Eligible to enroll in a registered apprenticeship program
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active environments
- Able to climb ladders and work at heights
- High school diploma or equivalent (encouraged, not required)

- Communicating clearly with supervisors and residents
- Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Managing work orders and documentation
- Staying organized and prioritizing tasks under pressure
- Delivering professional customer service
