We are a privately owned, patient-focused dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming environment. You'll work alongside an experienced team using modern technology, including CEREC same-day crowns, digital radiography, and digital intraoral scanning. We believe in investing in our team and are happy to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Pass instruments and maintain an efficient clinical workflow
- Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (training provided if needed)
- Assist with digital impressions and intraoral scanning
- Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments following OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines
- Set up and break down operatories between patients
- Update patient records and medical histories in our practice management software
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
- Maintain inventory and keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Help create an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients arrive until they leave
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Friendly, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and accept coaching
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous dental assisting experience
- Dental Assisting Certificate or completion of a dental assisting program
- Dental radiography certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience working in healthcare, customer service, or another patient-facing role
- Familiarity with dental software (Curve experience is a plus)

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
