What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Ellwood City Children's Center?
The Ellwood City Children's Center is seeking candidates for a full time Preschool teacher working with 3 year old children of all abilities in a preschool classroom.
Candidates must have an active PA Dept of Ed License with PreK-4 or Early Childhood Certification.
This position requires the following:
- Strong knowledge of child development for 0-5
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using the Creative Curriculum for lesson planning
- Experience using Teaching Strategies GOLD for assessment and documentation
- Strong collaboration skills in working with an assistant teacher
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Pleasant and nurturing personality
This would be a good opportunity for a recent graduate to receive experience in a classroom/with children, or a retired teacher wishing to return to teaching.
