What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Maintenance position at Ellwood City Area School District?
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean field house and restrooms at Helling Stadium.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on an assortment of equipment including: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.
- Troubleshoot and perform HVAC repairs to pumps, motors, thermostats, univents, air handlers, and radiators.
- Provide lawncare maintenance including operating lawn equipment, top dressing, overseeding, mulching and aerating district turf areas.
- Provide athletic field maintenance including synthetic turf on football field.
- Complete work orders
- Perform electrical duties including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of outlets, lights and other district equipment.
- Maintain and perform necessary plumbing repairs including: sinks, drains, faucets, soldering, pipe fitting and new installations.
- Perform general upkeep to vehicles and equipment.
- Perform basic welding, drywall and painting
- Snow removal, salting.
Qualifications:
- Two years related maintenance experience preferred.
- Valid PA drivers license.
- Ability to operate a forklift, tractor, snow plows, lawn care equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Trade school or Vocational Education preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, basic construction, grounds work.
This position is daylight shift Monday through Friday. Single Coverage Health Benefits Only.
