After School/Summer School Site Manager - Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School
The Ellsworth School Department is seeking a dynamic, organized, and student-focused professionals to join our team as Site Manager for the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) After School and Summer School programs. This federally funded initiative offers high-quality academic support and enrichment activities for students in grades K–12 during after-school hours
This is a part-time positions, 20 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.
Working closely with the Program Director, the Site Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at the program site. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about youth development, community partnerships, and creating safe, enriching environments for student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Director to design, implement, and evaluate site-based programs and activities.
- Ensure programs are engaging, safe, and aligned with CCLC goals for academic and personal success.
- Collect and report student data, program outcomes, and other required documentation.
- Manage site finances and maintain accurate records.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise part-time staff and assist in engaging volunteers.
- Actively recruit students, particularly those identified by school staff as likely to benefit from the program.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for students while maintaining effective supervision and behavior management.
- Build and sustain partnerships with parents, local organizations, and community leaders.
- Maintain ongoing communication with school personnel, staff, and volunteers to support collaboration and resolve challenges.
- Attend regular meetings with the Program Director.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree strongly preferred.
- Experience in education, youth development, or program administration is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, families, and community partners.
