Responsible For: Helping coordinate activities of Lab Assistants
Interrelationships: Works cooperatively with all hospital departments, medical staff, patients, and visitors.
Position Summary: The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests with accuracy, precision, and timeliness to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal quality standards while maintaining a high level of professionalism, technical knowledge, and commitment to patient care.
Job Description: Analyze biological samples. Perform chemical microbiological, hematological, and immunologic tests. Operate and maintain lab equipment. Verify and interpret test results and document findings.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field required
Experience: 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
