Supervises all activities of a construction project which includes:
Develop a schedule and plan for completion of an assigned project.
Collaborates with other staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
Coordinates and schedules work activities of foremen and crew.
Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; provides progress reports to upper management; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
Collaborates with engineer, city inspector and other stakeholders to ensure specifications and other regulations are met.
Ensures applicable specifications and regulations are followed.
Monitors budget throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
Ensures a safe worksite and that all proper safety procedures are followed.
Must be able to travel overnight during the week and work weekends as needed.

Must be able to lead a team with a diverse group of people. Possess strong judgement and decision-making skills. Good written and verbal communication skills must be fluent in English due to contract requirements. Detail orientated. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and plans. Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them. Be able to use applicable software programs.
Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess valid driver's license. Must have 5-year construction experience. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold, rain, sleet, and snow. Noise level can be loud. This position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and exposure to dust, concrete and asphalt.
