Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and drive axles with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and steering system diagnostics to ensure proper handling and safety.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with high-quality standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate effectively with Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines.
Skills
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and vehicle service manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment to pinpoint faults efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing vehicle maintenance, powertrain systems, vehicle transmission system repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics accurately.
- Technical proficiency in automotive electrical systems, engine repair, and general automotive service operations. Euro education/skill a definite plus!

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
