Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain building systems, equipment, grounds, and utilities in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, supply orders, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local building codes and regulations.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and support emergency preparedness plans.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and grounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Prior experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
- 1-2 years of management/supervising experience
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety codes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (DOH, OSHA, Life Safety Code) strongly preferred.
