In this role, you’ll support the initial power-up and testing of modular electrical units, verifying functionality and ensuring everything is operating as intended before programming is installed. Schedule & Compensation
- Typical workweek: 45 hours, Monday–Friday (7 AM–5 PM), with potential OT on evenings/weekends if needed
- Flexible shift times may be arranged depending on client requirements
- Power up equipment for the first time and confirm voltage levels prior to program installation
- Follow pre-established test protocols and checklists step by step
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC diagrams, and HMI layouts
- Use meters to check resistance, continuity, and voltage
- Troubleshoot issues in real-time and collaborate directly with clients to resolve them
- Work on one unit at a time, with about 2 weeks allocated per test cycle
- Strong background in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing
- Ability to interpret electrical documentation (schematics, PLCs, HMIs)
- Familiarity with automation systems and some logic editing experience preferred
- Prior experience working with meters, voltage checks, and resistance tests
- Comfortable working independently and communicating with clients when issues arise
