What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler / Production Worker position at Ellison Bronze, Inc.?
Longstanding sheet metal manufacturer seeking self-motivated candidate to join our team. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and has the ability to fabricate/assemble custom doors/frames as well as hardware components.
Full Time, First Shift, 40 hours/week. Union Position
Requirements:
* Candidate must have the ability to accurately read a tape measure; and have the ability to read and interpret shop drawings hardware templates.
* Strong math skills are a must.
* Candidate must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to use various power tools/hand tools, punch press, cutoff saw and other equipment when needed etc.
Duties to include, but are not limited to:
* Assemble shafts and/or refurbish old shafts, check housing and guide assemblies.
* Set up and run hydraulic punch press, cut off saws, and other equipment.
* Assisting in all other functions of department operations.
Experience in sheet metal manufacturing a plus.
Must be 18 or older. High school Diploma/GED required.
Starting salary will be commensurate with experience with a Minimum Starting rate of $17.50/hour.
