We're looking for coachable people, with strong speaking voices to assist Fire Fighters, Police Officers, State Troopers and Veterans with their year-round fundraising needs.
These organization work on a lot of community programs throughout the year that help elementary school children, college scholarships, drug prevention education, shop-with-a-cop for underprivileged youth, advanced training programs and a lot of other community-related items designed to prevent fires and crime throughout the Granite State.
To fund all of this, we promote various events throughout the year for these organizations, and sometimes just do straight sponsor-acquisition drives for new donors for NH's first responders.
This outbound calling position will entail 50-60% prospecting calls, and 40-50% previous donor calls, with the goal of generating a pledge from a realistic percentage of them.
Yes, a lot of people will say no thank you (sometimes they're even nice about it haha).
Yes, a lot of people will just hang right up.
But more importantly, there are a lot of great people that live in NH that support these causes, we just need to get them on a call for a couple minutes to let them know how easy it is to support the men and women that are saving lives across the Granite State.
Full training is provided. If you've got a good attitude, and want to succeed, you'll do great. You'll learn how to negotiate, sales techniques, and how to maintain and control conversations which will assist you in future positions down the road, and is a great life-skill also.
