Regular attendance is required. 40 hours per week on a two-week rotation schedule is as follows: Week #1: Monday-Thursday (8a-5p) Friday (8a-12p); Week #2: Tuesday-Thursday (8a-4p), Friday (8a-5p), and Saturday (9a-4p).

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I -Landfill: Pay grade 13, Step 1 starts at $19.68/hour with an opportunity for a step/pay advancement at 6 months and the opportunity for twice yearly pay increases.

Position Requirements:
1. High school diploma or other equivalent
2. Heavy equipment operator experience preferred

Certifications / Licenses:
1. Valid Class B commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement
2. 24-Hour Household Hazardous Waste Certification required within six months of hire date.
3. The successful applicant will also be required to participate in the FHWA (CDL) drug-testing program.
