Ready Mix Class B Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Class B Drivers to join our team. We are hiring drivers for front and rear discharge trucks for our locations in Newark, Mt Vernon, Mt Gilead and Danville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of ready mix concrete to various job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with construction teams. The Ready Mix Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B ready mix delivery trucks and other heavy machinery to transport materials to job sites.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including material quantities and job site conditions.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles and working on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in commercial driving with a valid class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
• Experience in loader operation and familiarity with construction equipment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
