What a Typical Day Looks Like
It’s Tuesday morning. You pull up Google Search Console and notice a cluster of product pages losing traction. You flag the pattern, cross-reference it with your content audit tracker, and draft three updated page titles and meta descriptions before lunch. In the afternoon, you switch gears: a distributor partner needs co-branded materials for an upcoming trade show. You open InDesign, adapt an existing template to their branding guidelines, and have a draft ready for review by end of day. Meanwhile, you update the promotional inventory spreadsheet with two new items the sales team requested. Nothing slips through the cracks. At Elliott, your work is visible, your ideas are heard, and the impact is real.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Web & SEO Knowledge: Familiar with SEO principles, content strategy, and basic website management (WordPress or similar CMS).
- UI Awareness: Understands user experience fundamentals and can identify opportunities to improve how a site looks and functions.
- Visual Communication Skills: Comfortable with graphic design concepts and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop/Lightroom).
- Analytical Skills: Reviews data and performance metrics, weighs options, and makes sound recommendations.
- Organization & Planning: Manages multiple projects simultaneously, meets deadlines, and maintains quality standards.
- Dependability: Follows through on commitments and delivers on promises.
- Locally Based: Within a sustainable commute of Dayton, OH.
