The School Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at the school. This includes monitoring school grounds, enforcing school policies, and responding to security incidents as needed.

The School Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at the school. This includes monitoring school grounds, enforcing school policies, and responding to security incidents as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol school grounds to deter and detect unauthorized individuals or activities
- Secure campus facilities and perimeter
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies
- Monitor parking, crosswalks and foot traffic
- De-escalation of on-campus incidents and coordination with medical and safety services, as needed
- Provide security at after-hours events as needed
- Written Incidents Reports and Daily Activity Reports so security information is maintained/recorded
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in school security required
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Salary : $17 - $19
