Seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer with 15 or more years of hands-on experience installing, replacing, and commissioning HVAC systems for businesses. Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC equipment and associated piping/ductwork
- Perform equipment changeouts and retrofit projects
- Collaborate with crane picks and rigging operations
- Complete startup and commissioning activities
- Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards
- Leadership over journeymen and apprentices
- Supervise crews and coordinating with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and customers
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Experienced in working on:
- Commercial rooftop units (RTUs)
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF and VRV) systems
- Boilers (hot water and steam)
- Chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled)
- Cooling towers
- Hydronic piping systems
- Sheet metal ductwork installation
- Refrigerant piping and controls coordination
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings
- Leadership experience
- Strong troubleshooting and startup experience
- OSHA10
- Valid driver's license
- Experience working in occupied commercial buildings such as healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities
Physical Requirements
- Frequently Required: Walking. Max carry 75lbs. Push/pull 40-75lbs. Exposure to hot and cold temperature. Working at heights. Operate motorized equipment.
- Occasionally Required: Standing, bending, or twisting. Kneeling, crouching, stopping, and crawling. Repetitive motion. Working with arms raised over head. Working on or from ladders. Exposure to high sound levels.
