Credit Union Teller

Elliott Community Federal Credit Union (FCU) is looking for friendly and conscientious Credit Union Tellers to work in our Jeannette and Greensburg branches, rotating, to serve our cherished credit union members. As a Credit Union Teller, you will provide our members with information about their accounts and credit union services. You will do this by:

• Receiving checking and savings deposits: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back, and issue receipts of deposit.
• Cashing checks, verify endorsement with proper identification.
• Answering basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
• Accepting loan payments: verify payment amount and issue receipts.
• Buying and selling currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
• Balancing drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks.
• Processing cash advances, redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
• Following all internal and Federal laws, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Basic mathematical skills
• Costumer service skills
• Previous experience is preferred

Part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Operating hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with hours on Thursdays until 6 PM. Rotating Saturdays. An ideal candidate has flexible availability throughout the week.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
