Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service and addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and handling areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and basic retail math for transactions
- Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry, with knowledge of coffee preparation and serving techniques preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash handling, cashiering, and retail math accurately in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math skills for daily operations
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or café environments is preferred
